When Todd and Miranda Touchton contacted us about a Small Munsterlander puppy we didn't know the extent of their competency with dogs. We just knew they were Malinois breeders, they had their own business and that they wanted Gypsy to be involved with AKC. We didn't know the depth of their expertise. Well, in the last several months their commitment to excellence has shown-pun intended. Cedars Point is enjoying the ride and is so thankful for their investment in Gypsy, the breed and their companion. Simply amazing! There's no stopping these three!!!

Miranda Touchton and Cedars Point Gundog Crackerjane-Gypsy Show in Pennsylvania and Missouri

Todd wrote us the day of the show in PA and explained that Gypsy was the only Small Munsterlander in the show and she represented the breed beautifully. Miranda showed Gypsy again in Missouri at the AKC Purina Farms Belgian Malinois National, the same weekend of the SMCA's National Conference, and again they both represented well receiving positive judge feedback on temperament/personality and the nice top-line structure of Gypsy specifically, Unfortunately there was no competition in the Miscellaneous Class, so no points were earned just a handful of ribbons. Miranda has now titled Gyspy in AKC Canine Good Citizen, as well as Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog. See below links for what these titles entail.

NAVHDA Chukar Challenge-Todd and Gypsy Enter their First Hunting Event

Gypsy was the youngest dog in the Puppy Class which is open until 18 months of age. Gypsy was less than 10 months of age at the event. Todd explained that his intention was to use the event to aid learning and experience. Walking with judges in a new environment were his primary focus in helping Gypsy in preparation for more formal "testing" environment later.

Gypsy located, pointed and held to flush on two of three birds in her 15 minute run. Todd suggested he was more than pleased with her performance. He went on to explain that the Chukar Challenge is a speed game which he's not interested in as a "type" of hunting. To do events like this regularly would be contrary to his goals. It was the experience he was after.

Todd and Gypsy Receive 2 Passes in Del Val Brittney Club AKC Junior Hunter Testing 3/23/25. Update as of 4/13/25 she was unofficially a Junior Hunt passing two more Junior Hunter runs. And..., upon returning home from their AKC Event in Missouri they came home to the official title.

Short and sweet, direct from Todd regarding Cedars Point Gundog Crackerjane's runs today: "Many great looks and conversations were had regarding Gypsy this weekend at the AKC hunt test. She performed amazingly well and her scores reflected that. She was the only Small Munsterlander entered so she had to represent the breed too."

Todd in finishing Gypsy's Junior Hunter Title the weekend before Easter with the final pass, going 4 for 4 commented, "Her scores have been extremely consistent behind six different judges."

Todd ran Gypsy in NAVHDA NA today-5/17/25 just shy of a years age. "It was a long day and temperature quickly climbed to 80 degrees in the sun. Medium dense and medium harsh coat, normal eyes, teeth and temperament. Judges and spectators complimented this 'nice little dog'", per Todd. She ran a maximum prize 1 score. There setting the mark high for the entire litter right from the start.

Todd and Miranda, what an amazing job you both are doing with the Gypsy. Congratulations on Miranda's youngest going winners bitch in Missouri too. We'll be thinking of you both next weekend for your NAVHDA NA run. This rating is for you three!!!
